I know it looks bad, but I bet the plant re-grows from the corm. Look at the bright side, they don't know that, so you might be able to get a free plant, and still have a praying hands! Not the way you had in mind, but hey - make some lemonade!

looks like someone owes you a plant, sorry about that, a telephone guy had to fix some wires in front of my house last year and i quess a leaf was in the way so he just cut it off, i would of like to cut him off!!!!

I can barely imagine how mad you are. They didn't even have the guts to let you know? ugh. I hope like Scott said you at least get a new one out of it and, if you're really lucky the old one grows back from the corm.
