Package of banana plants from Scot (Chironex), sent on July 22, 2009 and finally arrived today at 1:00 PM. It was sent from Las Vegas, NV, through Salt Lake City, UT; Commerce City, CO; Salina, KS; Lenexa, KS; Little Rock, AK; Memphis, TN; then Doraville, GA where I pleaded with the alleged Customer Service people for over two hours for them to intercept and re-eroute it back to Seattle, WA. Two days later, they posted it to be departing from Hodgkins, IL on 07/30/09, and then being quiet for the next 5 days until delivered today. |

Most of the bananas, the bigger ones, are probably OK. Outside of the fact that they're dehydrated and the leafed ones have gone yellow, there isn't really anything I can see until UPS comes and inspect it. That's probably another 2 or 3 days coming.
This is the second time that they've done this to me. The first time wasn't so bad because the items in the packages were non-perishable.
