mjd, if you are headed down the valley some time, you should go to Duarte Nursery in Hughson which has several greenhouses of poinsettia, all for sale to the general public. You can spend a couple of hours trying to decide.

looks like a lot of work! Poinsettias can be difficult...they are prone to lots of diseases and production problems. I'm always amazed they sell for so little, considering the amount of work they are to produce. (another reason I don't grow them!)
