i got this in Alabama from an old farmer. the trunk grew large in girth last year. i trimmed all the dead sheaths off so it has lost weight.. its tall but not extremely tall.. its past dwarf status. the leaves are approx 6 1/2 feet in length
i saw sugar ants climbing into the top of the plant before the rain..so maybe that could mean the flower is in the trunk pushing up?? |
