This photo doesn't begin to do justice to the scope and magnificence of this banana patch. It's right up against my friend's house so it benefits from night warmth emanating from the walls in our already tropical climate. Lots of varieties, and clutter, but it works for her so I'm not complaining. She uses tons of sand and seaweed in it as well, and cuts down own pseudostems and throws in 'em back in as mulch. Waste not want not after all  |
