I got a Musa acuminata 'Dwarf Cavendish' in April 2021, in the mail it was 1 small leaf, and now it is October 2021 and I have this gigantic tree I will have to bring inside somehow to keep it alive thru winter. This is my first banana plant.
Then it died. I think root rot. Starting over again.
2022- same with the extra small teeny tiny dwarf cav- didn't make it through the damn winter
2024- tried with viente cohol (sp) to overwinter in ground with methods suggested on youtube- i'm pretty sure it didn't make it
2025- ready to try again, this has become a mission. thinking about trying dwarf orinoco (sp) and diff winterizing method
