Banana species and cultivars grown?:
Just getting started. Have a red variety and a Klue Tiparot in the ground, and two bananas in containers that the neighbors across the street gave me. I assume that these will prove to be reliable bearers, adapted to this area. (Note to self: Get those two in the ground, clean the containers, and give them back to the neighbors.) I got the first two plants mentioned at a regional ag fair from a grower in Chantaburi Province, south of me. They had scores of varieties for sale. Everybody on this forum would have gone nuts to see them all. I have the grower's business card and could scan it and post it for all of you who read Thai.
