The only thing I can think of is that for the past two years the plants have been watered by well water (do not know the PH but should check). The pots have drain ports two inches off the bottom...

The Suntubes are long stainless steel tubes with an outside dome facing south and a glass window of sorts in the room. Does that effect the light spectrum as it enters the room?
