After 10 years in SE Asia back to the UK
Hello, Pleased to meet you all. As you may guess I have recently been living in Bangkok and have now moved back to the UK. I miss my tropical garden so have built a conservatory on a free standing wall at the bottom of my garden. I have two dwarf Cavendish type nanas. They were labelled as Musa acuminata "Tropicana". I realise they probably won't fruit here in the UK, but you never know.
I also want to plant a Musa basjoo or yunanensis type just to see if they would survive in York, UK. I've visited Yunnan province in China and it was very cold but the bananas looked fine. Ian (late of Bangkok now of York)
