Re: beginner in kansas
Welcome to the org! You'll learn a lot here kwik! One thing, when it's cold [like 50's] outside, don't give them very much water or food. The water can cause corm-rot and since they grow very slow when it's cold, the fertilizer can burn the roots. If you need any info, just ask.

Hi Tony, welcome to the org from another foreign place. Sounds like you like challenges, growing some bananas there in Wichita! But, where there's a will, there's a way!

Re: beginner in kansas
Welcome from Milwaukee Oldkong! There is a lot you can learn here. And really, alot of it is trial and error. Don't worry about it too much. I have killed as many plants as I have successfully grown.

Howard, I don't have any sunny locations to plant them and Georgia has hardly any rain in the summer, not good for bananas. Rae
