![]() I started growing bananas this year along with some palms. I live in the Ozarks in a town called Ozark. We bought a house last year that had almost no plants and no landscaping. I will post photos as soon as I figure out how.
We are listed as zone 6b but haven't been that cold for at least 10 years. I am growing musa basjoo, several types of ee, mexican fan palm, chinese windmill palm, canna, calla lily. |

![]() To post pictures: Click the button above the text-field wich looks like a small postcard. When you put your cursor above it it says "Insert image". Then insert the URL of your image.
First though, you need a place on the internet that will host your image. To have a URL of your image, you need to upload it to for example www.imageshack.us Do this first, then copy the URL at the field "Direct link to image" and put it in the field you see when you click the above "Insert image" button. Alternatively, you can use a miniature image wich also becomes available as a URL at imageshack when you upload an image. Erlend

![]() Welcome from another Missouri banana grower.
I am really new to this and learning a lot from all these wonderful people. I only have a few small plants and am trying to keep them alive this winter in what I call my plant room. I can’t wait till spring so I can add more plants to my very small collection. It’s nice to see I’m not the only one from this state trying to do this. Glad to see you are growing palms too. I really want to try my hand at those also. Jane |
