Please,
can somebody help me to get some seed. Im totally new about growing bananas and I dont know where to get seed. Only place i have found it was on e bay but U can buy at most 10 seeds and Im afraid that is to little and shipping for that costs???? 3-4 times more than seed. And I dont know what spiecies are easiest to grow from seed for beginers like me. So if somebody has some seed for donation or some advices for me please help me get started. Thx Sorry for spelling

Re: Getting seed
Welcome to the org Dalmationsoap. I think to grow banans from seed the resulting plants are that much more enjoyable to grow. I'm kind of new to this myself but I've found Ensete Glaucum particularly eay to grow from seed in comparison to the few others I've tried. I got mine on ebay from mother natures garden store. Check in the classifieds section of this site and you should find some others .Good luck

Re: Getting seed
try amazon. got about 40 or 50 snow banana seeds for a really good price. also on e-bay figure out what bananas you might want and use the names like; blue java or musa acuminata, which would be the ice cream banana. I do not know if you can get seeds for this one but basically if you specify you can probably find sites than the ones that offer 5 and 10 seeds. stay away from the seeds that only give names like rainbow banana and red banana and offer no species names, they may not be reliable.
