![]() Hello members of Banana.org. I'm new to this. I joined because I am also new to banana growing and I don't know when to cut the bunch of (green as yet) fruit on my Lady Finger tree. I guess I could ask a Primary Industries rep, but I'm sure it will be more interesting talking to a grower.
Happiness is a lovely bunch of bananas. Gran. |

![]() Hi there Gran! Welcome to bananaland. What type are they? Generally, you can cut them once the first ones begin to ripen at the top. If it is a huge bunch that you won't be eating for awhile, you can cut off some hands and leave the rest to hang for a bit. Don't leave them too long, as some varieties will tend to split open. Good luck.
