hallo from Italy.
Hi, I'm Riccardo (Rick) and I write from Rome.
I'm very happy to have found a place for 'nanas fanatics like me.  I live in on the sea side , barely 50 meters from water (for people who know a little about rome's surrounding, my town is next to Fiumicino's airport... a place called focene). My home is not exactly a place good for nanas due to strong winds and salty air, but despite all odds I'm working hard on nanas , palms and other tropical plants... The plants accustomed to salt wind and sun will be planted on the beach, the others in the backyard (including bananos). For the moment I'm the proud owner of 2 Dwarf Cavendish, 1 muslla lasiocarpa, 1 musa Basjoo and 1 (supposed ) musa paradisiaca. Since here the temperatures are always mild to moderate hot , (max -1 for few hours in February ) , given a good shelter from strong sea winds, my bananos are growing strong with one leave every 5 days , more or less....
