Hello
Hello all, I'm so pleased to have found this site. I was encouraged when I read some information posted by bananaman88 in Pearland, Tx. I lived in Pearland for 10 years but recently moved to our weekend place in Brazoria. So now I'm so pleased to have someone in THIS area that can share LOCAL banana growing informatin with me. Currently, I have a large blooming plant but I need to know a great deal more information. Thanks in advance to anyone that can offer assistance. I look forward to chatting with each of you and I'm especially interested in hearing what bananaman88 can offer about my current blooming plant - like how long will it bloom? Regards, Kikki

Re: Hello
Backatcha... I'm new too and on the upper Texas coast. What kind of trees do you have? I have family in north AND south Louisiana but I'll need to ask if they have any banana trees. Are your trees blooming right now?

Re: Hello
Welcome aboard, Kikki ! You're doing just fine. I think you simply confused the PM & Reply buttons. The PM button sends a personal message to/from a single member (private message). The other buttons put your message in the 'public' thread you're viewing.
No worries , you'll get the hang of it. If you need any help at all, just ask; people here always Luv helping new members into the org! BTW (by the way), for a more effective "ha", put a colon before & after the word "ha" (with no spacing). You'll get ! Last edited by Eric : 07-23-2009 at 04:15 AM. Reason: Incomplete |
