Hello to All
I stumbled on this site by accident will looking up information about muriate of potash for a few bananas I have. Glad to see there are others around who enjoy the plants as much as I do.
I have about 5 species, only one of which makes anything worth eating. Got two small bunches so we should have something edible in a few weeks. I'll stay in touch and look forward to lots of good information. Regards |

Re: Hello to All
I don't have a DNA ID on these plants but I think I have the following.
M. velutina Saba Ice Cream Japanese Fiber Red Leaf (not to certain about this one) I would say the Saba is currently in the 18-22 ft tall range. Pretty neat to see leaves as long or longer than I am tall. |

Re: Hello to All
Interesting how many people around the world really enjoy these plants. I thought my dad and I were the only two around that seemed to really like the plants. I'll try to post a couple of pictures soon. Thanks for all the welcomes.
