Well first off let me say that after reading through a lot of stuff on here this site seems to have a lot of wonderful and helpful people on it and tons of really good information!

I live in Longwood, Florida with 6 kids 16 months to 18 years, 5 boys and one girl as well as 4 chickens, 3 cats, 2 ducks, a turtle, and a uromastyx. We started our first large garden this past year to save money and eat healthier and I realized I really enjoy growing things and wish I would of figured that out years ago. My kids eat a lot of bananas and told me they wanted to start growing them and here I am trying to soak up as much info as I can since the kids are really excited about growing banana's. They really want to get one of the ones that taste like Ice Cream. :-)

My wife thinks I am crazy because when I get interested in something I go all out then multiply that by the kids getting really into it! hahaha

Music Production (produce dance music and kids play all kinds of instruments and set a Guinness world record)
Building computers
Fishing
Gardening
and now Growing Bananas

Someone from Freecycle donated a few Dwarf Cavendish pups to us so we ended up putting those in pots.

Kids are looking forward to hunting down a few more varieties hopefully we will run into a few other people that have some pups to donate. I have been working really hard at getting the kids interested in gardening, they are doing really well with the watermelons and they are going crazy propagating Chocolate mint plants and giving them away to friends and family. Them begging me to let them start growing Banana's made me feel great!

By the sounds of it...I can all but guarantee you'll love it here. This site is a wealth of great information and helpful/knowledgeable people! If you have questions, just ask! I'll warn you though...banana growing is an addiction...one or two soon becomes having 20 varieties and no space for more (but the desire to buy more). It's hardcore....

So what kind of dance music do you produce? I'm very interested. I'm a raver/EDM fan who is very active on another forum site devoted to EDM and anything related to that scene. Feel free to give me a shout back sometime about your music! Trance is my favorite, but I also love Happy Hardcore, Electro, Drum & Bass, Dubstep and many other types (basically everything LOL).
