help need to germinate banna seeds
hello i new to this forum,i live in england and i would like to know how to germinate banana seeds,which i have tried but,with no luck,where am i going wrong,i have just put some seeds in my propergater in the greenhouse,and now just waiting,temp is 30,can anybody please give me some advice many thanks jasmine

Welcome to the gang Jasmine2005! Tog's here! (as you insist Ken!) You seem to be ok on the temp. Perhaps it could be the humidity and the viability of the sds you got. Check out the Sd Germn Forum, there's loads of info there. Put up a post with details of the species and what not and we will be glad to come in and make a heck of a ruckus!

What he said. Welcome to the jungle! How old are the seeds, what type are they and where did you get them. EBay sellers have notoriously old seeds at times. Tog seems to have perfect Musa germination techniques, but in England there are also some experts. 51st State, Mark Hall, Tony Palmer and Christian come to mind to name a few.
