Re: looking to buy bananas branch
That's going to be hard to do in the US. A hand will be easy.

Re: looking to buy bananas branch
Those of us who operate small roadside fruit stands will sell the entire bunch but we usually don't ship. An alternative would be to look around your area and find a grower willing to part with their prized harvest.

Re: looking to buy bananas branch
I cannot confirm this, but I was told that the super walmarts have plantains 'on the branch'. I like that saying.

Re: looking to buy bananas branch
Welcome to the site! I hope you enjoy it here. I don't know how easy it will be to obtain an entire bunch of bananas. Maybe some generous member here would be willing to ship one (but considering the weight it's gonna cost you a LOT). Otherwise, this might be difficult to obtain. ENJOY THE SITE!

Outside the US that is common on the fruitstand. They are willing to sell you the whole bunch on bargain price. But here in the US? I've never seen one selling them. Some members here try to sell EACH finger a while back for Gosh a lot (lol) what more so for the bunch! I can't imagine how much it will cost you. Configuring how much labor and tender care they had done to grow one bunch in a years time ,in my case two years time. In Pattys time 3 years and counting (lol).

Re: looking to buy bananas branch
Roadside fruit stands on Krome Avenue in Homestead, FL sell bunches of various bananas.
As does Going Bananas in Homestead and a few other growers in South Florida. If you have the wherewithal to pay shipping costs contact Don and Katie Chafin of Going Bananas, I am sure they would ship you a whole raceme. |
