Party Musa velutina / Ae Ae

Hi every1. This is my first post.

Ive read all i can on this site regarding velutina seeds germination. Got hold of a fresh pink nana and scraped 80 odd seeds from it, which have soaked for coming up to 48 hrs now. I've read that winter ripening fruit take longer to germinate, so with this in mind had a little play around. 12 of the hours were spent in pressed apple juice (ph3.4), the other 36 in water at ph6. Hopefully the juice would help scarify the husk a little. Gonna nick 10 of them as well.

I'm worried about using the zip lock bag technique, so gonna sow them on perlite in a clear box. Do the seeds have to be button side up to germinate? I'm super keen to get hold of an ae ae this year, does any one know where i could get one in the E.U.????

Welcome Diggy! Can't help you with the germination, I'm terrible at growing things from seed!

Welcome Diggy!

You might want to repost your question on one of the other forums where it can get some attention. Good luck!
