New to forum
I was brought over this way by JoeReal's reply to my post over on rinky dink Gardenweb.
Just wanted to say hey to everyone and introduce myself. I am yet another california banana grower. East Bay area. I have been having much success with many of the hardier varieties in my yard. I also have a banana site at http://www.bananavilla.com. Check it out. It pretty much tells my story over there and we also have a forum with 85+ members. And always, trades and plants for sale are welcome. Mike |

Hi Mike,
I'm glad to have you here in the same forum. One thing truly nice is that you can edit your post. In the garden web, there is no way to edit your posts and oftentimes insult other people when you don't mean to, simply because you can't edit your own posts over there. If there are enough gurus here, this will be one great banana forum. Your web site at www.bananavilla.com is also one of my resource links for bananas. I am near the upper limit of space of posting pics over there, so cannot post an entire album. Thanks for coming to be a member of this site. It is much better in terms of user interface. I wish most gurus like yourself will be members here soon. Many thanks to Jarred for hosting this site. Joe |

Hello people Keen banana grower here living in UK.
My long term ambition is to own an Ae Ae. Been told today that there is only ONE Ae Ae growing in England. Its great that there are still things that money cannot buy. Best regards to all. |

Banananman - Money can easliy buy a Ae-Ae but shipping it to England seems like a major obstacle to me.
I sent some naners to a lady in Montreal a few years back and it was a hassle. Welcome to all the new guys from a month old member. HA Terry |
