![]() Dear all at Bananas.org community,
First of all i would like to say hello to all members and thanks for accept me. I am new (very new) on this community and also i am very happy to be a part of this, i dont know how the site works yet (rules, searching, posting etc.) but i will find everything easy easy ![]() I have got my first rootball of blue java banana. It's about 2 kilos (5 pounds) and i would like to propagate it. After from hours of google searching i found the efficient method the tissue culture method but it is difficult because you need to do the under sterile conditions that means i need labatory to do that ![]() After communication with many people around the world associated with banana they told me the most common propagation method is the cutting method. My question is how can i find the full details of this method? How i will cut correctly the rootball instead of destoying it? What other materials i will need in order to secure the success of the cutting method? And how many pups can be created from this method? Thank you very much all for your time. Your Sincerely, Harrys200589 |

![]() Welcome to the Jungle......
![]() A great informative start is Youtube. There are many videos to choose and watch. Pick and choose what works for you. Just duplicate the process. Use key phrase propagate bananas by cuttings. Good luck!! |
