New to Site
Hi All,
I'm new to Bananas.org. I live in Fairfield in Northern California and would like to grow some plants that will last outdoors. I've purchased banana plants at places like Lowes and other nurseries but they either die from the winter cold or the hot 100 degree sun during the summer like the one we're having now. Can anyone suggest a plant that does well here and where I can get them? Thanks for your help. Aaron Chong |

Re: New to Site
Welcome aboard Aaron!
May I also suggest posting an additional thread with a more descriptive title in the Cold Hardy forum as some members don't read all the threads here in the introductions & announcements forum. I don't have much experience with cold hardy bananas because here in Florida there's little need to worry, so I can't offer much advice aside from suggesting posting another more descriptive thread or reading some existing threads in the Cold Hardy forum. Anyway, once again, welcome aboard! Glad to have ya!
