1st bloom from one of my unknowns
Can someone help ID this for me? It was sold as basjoo, but its obviously not. Its about 3ft tall. I was thinking maybe ornata.

That definitely looks like one of the Ornata varieties to me...and Ornata will bloom when shorter in stature (reportedly 5 ft, so you've beat that!). It's BEAUTIFUL! I wish that I would get a bloom ONCE. South Carolina is not the place to be...not for me.
