Default Any Way to Tell?

Hello,

Potting up & bringing in bananas indoors each year, losing some, some restarting from pups ... I've lost track of which varieties a lot of them are, but all would be either velutina or ornata. The leaves look really similar, esp. on the pups, so I was just wondering if/how I might tell them apart or can that be done only when they flower?

Thanks in advance for any assistance,
Andrea

As far as I can tell looking at the wiki, ornata has a reddish stripe running along the main stem of each leaf, and velutina does not... have any photos?
