![]() Both the plant and seed photos appear to be M. cheesmanii, however to be sure, what size are the seeds? M. cheesmanii has very large seeds, nearly 1cm across, whereas M.
balbisiana seeds are smaller, about the size of a peppercorn. They both have that bumby textured surface, but M. balbisiana seeds tend to be more round, while M. cheesmanii is a bit more angled.

![]() See this photo I made many years ago for size comparisons. The shape of the M. balbisiana seed in this one is not as typical, they are usually much more rounded.
