Help wanted to identify plants
These are from my dad's patch in Miami. After he passed away the patch went wild but my step-mom let me take all the pups I could gather. I tried to plant the types together. This is the first type, but it has been much bigger:
This is what it looked like a year ago. I apologize, but there is a Pear branch in front. And a dog. Please ignore. This is the second type:

Re: Help wanted to identify plants
The dog's very cute Chatoyant so no harm done
The first patch definitely looks to be Super Dwarf Cavendish. Like 2woodensticks says, the wine stains are an indication that they're in the cavendish family, and their short, stocky height and close leaf spacing suggest they are that variety. Has it ever flowered for you yet? The second one I'm not so sure about, maybe an Orinoco but the stem looks very slender so maybe something else like a Basjoo. Someone else might be better able to identify it
