Okay, I'm reasonably certain this is a Cavendish type, and I'll walk through my thought process.

There are multiple types called ladyfingers, the most common of those being:
Sucrier
Namwa (I believe it's called Ducasse in Australia)
Pome
Mysore

If it were Sucrier, we would expect the bunch to hang somewhat horizontally. The inside of the bract would be yellowish on a Sucrier too, so we can safely rule that one out.

If it were Namwa/Ducasse the bracts would lift without rolling, and the pedicels (the stem where the individual fingers attach to the stalk) would be fused and reddish when young. We can rule this out too.

Moving on to Pome, the leaf stalk canals would have "U" shaped wings as opposed to the flared wings on this mystery banana.

Last "ladyfinger", Mysore generally has a reddish coloration on the underside of new leaves and the midrib. It would also have a "U" shaped leaf canal similar to how a Pome type would. Definitely not a match.

All the details I'm seeing are pointing to a Cavendish type. Could be wrong, there's a number of varieties I'm not familiar with, but it's not any of the usual "ladyfingers".

Thanks for the detailed response.
The bananas are only about 5-6 inches long and sweet, if that helps.
