Default MUSA Mint Varigated & MUSA NONO Pink Varigated Bananas

I bought a MUSA Mint Varigated & a MUSA NONO Pink Varigated Banana from a seller on Etsy and in hindsight now I'm wondering where I can find more info on these varieties. I can't find any info at all on the mint, like it doesn't exist. Both plants are foliage for my house. Both are being shipped and will be here in a couple more days. Any help finding info would be greatly appreciated!

You can’t find any information on those varieties, because they don’t exist. The seller is probably selling small tissue culture variegated Florida’s. He got a couple odd looking ones so he gave them some cool names. It will be interesting to see what they look like as they grow bigger and if the pups are true to type. Please keep us posted.

I’ve not seen much for the Nono but I think the mint is a fancy name the TC people came with. I’ve seen similar non-tc plants that are a type of namwah. It seems as if the leaves come in with the minty color then darken over time.

Musa nono does exist, there’s a thread from a few months back where PRGiants posted a site that had it as a native banana to PNG

I stand corrected. The Musa Nono is a named variety. It is very pretty but it doesn't fruit. Please keep us updated as the plants grow.
