. If anyone could help I would greatly appriciate it. I had this one given to me and when I asked what kind it was I got the reply "banana". AllI new to say was duhh.

I have the same problem a lot of the time - it needs to grow and flower before it can be identified. When it flowers - take pictures at regular stages of flowers, fruit - everything you can think of and hopefully someone can identify it. At this small stage they all look similar sadly. It looks a nice plant though.
