Default Please help me to ID this banana

It appears to be a Namwah Pearl but the only problem is it's cold hardy.

Chris,

I don't really think it's Namwah Pearl. The one I had looked very yellow/chartruese, whereas this one looks more like a nutrient deficiency to me. I could be wrong. Where did you get this plant. Did they tell you it was cold hardy?

I got it from a freind in Winston Salem and it overwintered there. Perhaps it was the fire ant poison I put around it as they had made a nest.

I live in Clemmons just outside of Winston salem it is more than likely a Musa Basjoo it is the most wide range growing banana in the area. You will notice it will have a redish stripe going thru thr main vein of the leaf when they get bigger.

Leaf shape looks a lot like Basjoo but it's hard to tell at this stage. I would expect to see a red midrib by now. Basjoo is also a wax-free nana with a lime green pseudo. Might check that.
