Re: Raja Puri
The ones you are calling 'Dwarf Red's look more like 'Tall Red' or 'Kru' to me. I grow 'Dw. Red' and the bananas in your pics from your last post definitely do not look like my 'Dwarf Reds' but they do look like the plants in your first post.
Perhaps someone else can weigh in on this as well as I'm not 100% certain. |

Re: Raja Puri
Hmmm...I'm no expert, by any means, but that's exactly what I was thinking based on the pics/description. The red pseudostem and the fat leaves seem to sway me in that direction. Again, not an expert, though. They look kinda like this pic from the wiki:

My SDC has red mottling as well but the mature leaves fade to solid green.

Exactly, that's what I was trying to say in my first post...'Raja Puri' does not have red pstems. That's why I think the plant in the original post is 'Dwarf Red". My 'RP' looks much like yours, sbl. |

Re: Raja Puri
Hey guys had to leave town again.I think that my "Raja" is a Dwarf red. All descriptions match. So now I want to know what the other is.It matches descriptions of KruThis pic is the two plants together.Dwarf red on the left and the one that I thought was a dwarf red on the right. This pic shows that the only similarities are the red color
