![]() Top picture you are correct is tall Namwa
2nd picture I'm not sure. Mine are still to small to compare. 3rd picture the flower and bunch and plants look just like my "American" TC Goldfinger. Have picutes you can compare in my gallery. I'll try to post some new one later. I'm just comparing to what I have. Hopefully an expert will tell you for sure.

![]() not too sure about the Gold finger since my Gold finger has a few "blotches" just like Cavendish and I believe it is from that family so not too sure if that is really a Gold Finger.

![]() JP - thanks
I have T namwah and Dwarf namwah and the icecream? isn't the same as my namwahs. My IC? is quite tall (14+ ft)-taller than T namwah and pstems are not as large diameter as namwahs - also IC? is all green i.e. no reddish leaf edges or stems.

The fruit and bud looks like mine. They flower fairly fast for me and seem to handle cold ok. This will be my first year to taste them but I hear the TC Goldfinger from agristarts is still a good banana. It does great for me so far. I think I remember wine spots on small plants.

![]() So you are saying Gold Finger is related to Brazilian?
That is good to hear since I have no luck keeping Cavendish over winter and like Brazilian more even though they tend to flower way too late in Texas in oder for the fruit to ripen. I always thought the blotches was a trademark of being related to Cavendish family. |

![]() I'm starting to think that the IC/blue java acquired from another member might be orinoco - I'm pretty sure it is not an IC as advertised and it also doesn't match either of my Tall or Dwarf Namwahs.

![]() I think you're right. The one you sent is about 3' now and looking like an Orinoco. I have another ice cream I received from a member which is around the same size. I'm pretty sure is the real deal and it looks different. I will keep comparing and keep you updated. Thanks again for the pups they are all very healthy and doing great.
