Hello Everyone;

I Was Given A Few Pups , Have No Idea What Type Of Banana I Have , They Grow Tall & Also Produce Fruit , As I Can See From My Nighbors Trees .

There's no way you could tell what type of banana this is at this size. Like Momoese says, wait until it blooms. Or post a picture of your neighbor's fruit.

yes orinoco..i m in central west fl.have several mats of them..great for cooking green or give more time to ripen and eat them right out of skin..a little yellow ok really really really yellow best..enjoy, real easy type to grow..very cold tollerant, my sword pups go from 1 foot to between 7 -9 feet in a season with fruit..have had 1 go 10 ft at top of pstem..4-6 month for fruit to ripen,depending on how ripe you like them

[IMG][/IMG]Heres A Foto Of neighbors Bloom, Last Summer He Gave Me a Few Pups wich I Planted & They Are Huge ! , We have Not Identified The Type Yet .

I hope with a Foto Of The Bloom Some One Here Can ID This Type.
