Williams Hybrid?
This plant was sold to me two years ago as a Williams hybrid. The plant is around 12 to 14 feet tall. Any ideas?

Re: Williams Hybrid?
It is difficult to tell from the photos, but it is showing a red leaf underside? It is definetly not 'Williams'. Please post more photos in the coming weeks and we will know better.

Re: Williams Hybrid?
And btw, they tasted amazing. Very sweet and multi flavored fruitiness from what I recall.

Re: Williams Hybrid?

Re: Williams Hybrid?
I don't think it's a Red Iholene,I have red iholene also. I have another banana that I got from GreenEarth that gets the same burgundy color and it gets the wine spots also.

Re: Williams Hybrid?
The new roller has red on it tony,in the second pic.It certainly isn't Williams hybrid unless its a new mutation, looks like your going to have to wait until it flowers to get a positive id.It still looks to me some form of iholene, etheier red iholene, white iholene or musa ha ha.

Here is an updated picture. I will take more this weekend. The flower is very light in color compared to my other fruiting plants.

Re: Williams Hybrid?
I think its dried plant material. I do have lots of lizards! As you walk through the garden they are every where. Only a few frogs. Way too many gophers!

Re: Williams Hybrid?
i have a mystery plant like yours..agristart was probably the main supplier no matter who you got it from.. Jared's pic is your closest bet to i.d. W. Hybrid...cavendish types. D.cav/G.nain/W.hybrid and a few others can look simular but are all different plants. They have distinguishable traits which are displayed espcecially during flowering..or so i believe. :-/
