anyone able to winter sikkimenisis in z 6?
I bought a couple sikkimenisis (red tiger) bananas and planted them the other day. I'm wondering if any one has wintered them over successfully in zone 6. I'm in southern ohio (near ohio river).

I have a couple that I grew under gro lux tubes this winter. I am waiting 'till memorial day to plant them. Do you think it was a little early for you to put them in the ground?

We may have another light frost but I doubt it. I generally plant things the third week in April depending on the 10 day forcast. Where are you from?
