![]() The Ensete are the only ones coming in this year. Last winter I brought two Basjoos in because I felt that I hadn't planted them deep enough to over winter out doors. The rest of the Basjoos were added this year as were three cavendish that are in planters.

![]() Sweet, very nice.
I'm jealous of your great weather this year, you've had a persistent high pressure ridge and here in the great lakes we've been cursed with persistent low pressure trough. |

![]() The problem with this high pressure ridge that won't move is we are already on Stage 3 water restrictions. We have only had 2 1/2" of rain since April so that means hand watering only now, no lawn watering and no car washing. It is shaping up to be a long hot summer.

![]() I agree with you, these photos were taken 5 years ago, how quickly the time flies.. These plants are fantastic! It's like a garden of Eden. If I had a garden like this, all mornings would be happy. Unfortunately, I cannot grow such plants, I don't have this talent. To make such a garden, I need a team of professional landscape designers. But I also have a lovely back garden. However, I have only roses growing there (my wife's favorite flowers), a few apple trees, and a fountain that we recently installed. By the way, our fountain works without electricity using solar powered water pumps. I can say that this is the main decoration in our garden.

![]() Wow,old thread resurrection. If only my garden looked so nice this year. Seems a long cold wet spring ha taken it’s toll. I lost most of my ensete year before last and am slowly getting those back. My windmill palm had been doing great and probably has 3 more feet of trunk since these photos but didn’t make through this winter.
Seems like I will be starting fresh. |
