A new banana has been sold all over the Europe since last April. It's called Musa Dajiao, costs about 2€ and it's supposed to be very cold hardy, edible variety, probably ABB cultivar (there's another cultivar in Malaysia called Dajiao). So nobody's sure.

I think "Basjoo" is basjoo whatever subname it has. So it should be very
cold hardy, but it shall not be edible. The subname "dajiao" sounds to me
that it would mean big basjoo.
