Default Waiting for frozen bananas to emerge...

Hey Everyone,

I'm waiting on my frozen bananas to emerge. Spring has sprung here in Central Texas after a harsh winter. I unfortunately had to chop all my bananas down to near the ground.

I just purchased some manure compost. My question is should I wait to apply tell leaves sprout or just do now?

Regards,

Temps are in the 70s by now are they not? If so, I would do the manure compost

I'm planting Mr. Musa this week as temps have warmed up here to the 60's & 70's.

I hope it doesn't get cold again. Snow last sunday yesterday it hit 70F today is even better. I'd go ahead and mix it in not like its going to hurt anything. Happy Growing :^)

I went ahead and mixed it in. A day or so after it got down to 30F.

I know the roots are still alive, but the pseudostems were pretty much mush.

Thanks, happy growing to you too.
