Question when to uncover for spring?

I'm in southern ohio (zone 6). I have many stands of bajsoos in the ground surrounded with bags of leaves. It appears that most of the psuedostems have made it. When should I remove all the winter protection?

if the temperature won't fall lower than -2 C, I think 29 Fahrenheit you can uncover them.

Bananas Brindando Re: when to uncover for spring?

Here in NYC the weather has been holding steady above freezing for the past two weeks so I uncovered my basjoo and I'm glad I did because the daylilies in the same area were being squashed. There is already growth showing at the tips.Your zone is about the same as ours.

check your 10 day forcast, If no hard freeze is expected, uncover them, it will be almost the middle of April by then. I will have to wait until May this year it just keeps snowing. Mike
