hi

is musa manni cold hardy ?
i heared it is extinct in the wild, that's a reason for me to grow it + it looks beautifull.

i overwintered a Musa nagensium but it died soon after, what are your experiences with this nanner ?

Yes, Musa mannii is quite cold-hardy. I haven't actually tested it here in my zone 7a climate yet, but I have a friend in zone 8a that says that it comes back in February each year.

I have a small manii that I will be putting out in the ground this spring... Sounds like it will be hardy here, so we will have to wait and see.
