Default Musa ornata Lavender short X Musa ornata Lavender Tall

A few months ago I hand pollinated two versions of Musa ornata Lavender that I collected and imported from Costa Rica 8 or so years ago. The taller is vigorous and the leaves to not brown in low humidity. The shorter has a nicer habit but the lower leaves brown prematurely in low humidity. I produced 80 or so seeds and planted them in a heated greenhouse at work. Hopefully I can get a cross with the best traits of both parents.

I will post the progress.
