About the new map
You guys can zoom all the way in and place the marker on your house like I did. I'm pretty sure you don't live on a golf course or on the sandy beach right?
BTW, the images they use are very old. I see a tree in my front yard that was cut down over two years ago! |

Re: About the new map
I couldn't even zoom that close for mine. Living in a 1-horse town does afford some anonymity, I guess. Best thing I can say is... I live over yonder.

Re: About the new map
Thanks Momoese!
Could not zoom close enough via satellite mode, so switched over to street map mode and marked where my bananas are supposed to be. |

Re: About the new map
That is pretty cool. I mapped my location too, right into the backyard! The picture is many years old, though. There are a few trees standing in the picture that have been dead now for many years, and my neighbor's fence is still complete (it is rotten and half of it is gone now!). A couple of the neighbors' pools in the picture are gone now also. Ok, so now I've posted pictures of my yard online, given a detailed map of how to get here...guess I need a surveillance system now to keep internet predators from stealing my bananas!

Re: About the new map
That's understandable in this day and age. I just figure if someone really wants to find me they can and will, but they might not like what I have waiting for them!

Re: About the new map
That's right - if someone is hard up enough to drive all the way out here, I'll either banana-slap him or offer him some coffee and a nanner-pup...

Re: About the new map
What I suggest is using a nearby landmark, tower, park, bridge, etc.
Carolina, ask him if that would be ok!

Re: About the new map
This is cool. Wonder when they will update. My neighborhood has totally been redone and the past two years and it still shows all the old stuff.
