Advice Please
Hi I have just bought some musa tropicana plants was told there was 2 but there's 6 lol can anyone give me some info on these as I haven't heard about these please ie will they grow bananas or are they just a type of plant I have uploaded some pictures if u care to help many thanks

It appears to look like a dwarf banana since the leaves are close together and low on the stalk. If it gets or has wine stains it is a cavendish variety, other than that, I can only say to grow it for a while and post pics a little later. Will need cold weather protection. There are many members that are very knowledgable and may kick in some of their ideas. Good growing.

Thank u for your reply I was told they was dwarfs when we bought the there was only 2 but looking at them closely there are 6 the other 4 are little babies but I won't touch them until they get bigger the roots are a fair size as the other 10 growing in the green house only 1 has started roots and a long black stick has started from where the pulp is so I'm a bit excited atm as the other 9 don't seem to be doing nothing atm lazy sods haha
