AeAe site
I found this site while searching for AeAe's: My Ae Ae's Brother It shows a picture of MediaHound receiving one! I tried to see if she would ship to me, but I think she only shares with locals. What a neat thing to do. I am having trouble finding one to buy at a reasonable price.

Re: AeAe site
Hi Clare,
Jordon Steele is a member here: Bananas.org - View Profile: jnstropic and several of our other members in his area received plants from him. On his site he quotes my question asking about Ae Ae culture and he says something along the lines of "forget about it" due to my climate. I've got two of them anyways. |

Re: AeAe site
Oh, thanks, Harvey! Good for you for getting them anyway! Anyone in any zone can grow them, provided that they get the right conditions. I think that's true of any tropical plant or nontropical plant for that matter. People have said that I can't grow and bloom wisterias and lilacs in my subtropical zone, and yet I do every year:-)
That's great that Jordon shares with others without expecting anything in return. You don't see that kind of sharing much these days with something so valuable. I only wish I could be one of the lucky recipients! |
