Another banana post at Dokmai Dogma
Check this link for a new post from the plant blog from Thailand. The writer, Eric Danell, discusses another Thai banana variety and provides a link to a banana group in Thailand. It's an interesting post.

From a document I found about SE Asian names for bananas, the English name for that one appears to be "Silver Bluggoe", a close relative to what we'd call Orinoco.
