Default Is Anybody In The Desert Growing Dwarf Orinoco?

Is anybody who lives in a desert climate growing Dwarf Orinoco? How to do they hold up in the summer? We get a dry 110+ degrees in the summer. I assume that they hold up well in the winter since they are supposedly quite cold hardy. What have your experiences been?

I grow bananas in the dessert. Just keep them shaded during hot days and put clay soil over the soil to keep water from evaporating
