Banana culture chart?
I am new to bananas and am looking to potentially expand the ones I grow. I am wondering if there is a chart of temps (highs and lows), sun requirements, soil, water, fruiting/non-fruiting, etc..
I can push the envelope a little, but it would make no sense to try to raise bananas that have no chance. If one does not exist, I would be happy to take input into a spreadsheet that would potentially be helpful to everyone. I am hoping this has already been done, of course. Thanks,

Re: Banana culture chart?
Thanks for the link.
I provides a great start to what I am looking for! I'll use it to create the beginnings of a spreadsheet. Thanks again.

Re: Banana culture chart?
John,
I couldn't speak to the Lowe's but living in Las Vegas i think the three of us that are here have raised the high temp scale of the Banana growing range I'm not saying its easy but we have grown successfully threw the third hottest summer in NV History! i think you are pretty safe in LA as long as you water throughly at least ever other day in the hottest part of the summers. although i wouldn't say that LA has the best soil
