Banana skins broke!
Hi friends,
Banana skins broke after the fruits were ripe on the tree. Of course the green skins didn't break. Some of the yellow skins broke. Is it normal? Or is it influenced by exessive water or fertiliszer or something? Stan |

Re: Banana skins broke!
Same as mine. I have California Gold and they are still green but their skins are cracked.

Re: Banana skins broke!
if they are starting to split, cut the bunch off, they will stop growing larger (which is causing the spliting) and then they will all begin to ripen. if you leave them on too long when they are ripe animals will also come eat them as well.
