Bananas's flowering in December
Looks like December is my lucky month, 3 of my Bananas are flowering right now. I will be able to save 1 for sure the other two are going to be a little bit of a challenge. I am in Zone 9a and we get a late freeze so come Feb I will have to find a way to protect the fruit.
Dwarf Orinoco A little hard to see but my Praying hands is flowering. And my Raja Puri, which really didn't get all that big. |

Re: Bananas's flowering in December
Congrats on the blooms! Too bad they couldn't have bloomed 4 or 5 months ago, right? Hope you get some fruit off there!
PS...How do you get away with the bananas growing over the power lines like that? Around here, they cut all the trees away from the power lines to prevent them from being damaged.
